Stichting Hartekind

Every year 1,500 new parents hear that the heart of their child is not completely healthy. Their child is one of more than 25,000 heart children in the Netherlands; children with a heart defect. About two-thirds of these heart children must undergo life-saving surgery(s) shortly after birth. In addition, heart children often have a shorter life expectancy and limitations due to heart failure, cardiac arrhythmia and/or acquired brain damage. And still 150 heart children die every year, making a heart defect cause of death number 1 among children up to 15 years.

This is why the Hartekind Foundation devotes its heart and soul to increasing the chances of survival of heart children and improving their quality of life. The Hartekind Foundation funds vital research, organizes/supports events and initiatives for this purpose and educates parents. In this way we work together with you to create a world in which heart children can be children without worries!

Stichting Hartekind & The Yellow Web

The Hartekind Foundation is a non-profit organization that is entirely dependent on donations and gifts from individuals and businesses in order to achieve its objectives. Every effort is made to finance as much life-saving research into heart defects as possible. For example, by organizing sporting sponsor events, the annual national collection week and actions at schools, businesses and in the neighborhood.

The Yellow Web designed and built a new website for Stichting Harteking. We also built a payment platform so that Stichting Hartekind does not have to pay percentages to donation platforms anymore. A fantastic long-term cooperation.
