The Yellow Web & Hans Egstorf
The bakery is designed by the famous architect Van Arkel. He was the architect of many iconic buildings in Amsterdam. He designed in a Dutch version of the Art Nouveau style, also known as ‘Nieuwe Kunst’. The unique design makes our bakery a recognizable corner on the Spuistraat and is loved by many. Once you enter the bakery, you can see the original paintings on the tiled wall. This tile tableau pays tribute to the art of baking.
The Yellow Web created an elegant website for the most iconic bakery in town.
